Sky Bed Bug Free (SBBF) takes insect free hammock camping to a whole new level. Sky Bed Bug Free is the world's first truly FLAT gathered end hammock complete with built in bug protection. Using an innovative and fully patented asymmetric design, the SBBF provides an amazingly flat and comfortable relaxation space. A silver sleeve of nylon parachute material defines the bed like sleeping space. The sleeve accommodates most any standard size 183 cm x 51 cm / 72” x 20” inflatable pad. Using your inflatable pad in the Sky Bed Bug Free provides thermal protection and helps to create the stunningly flat sleeping surface. The attached no-see-um mesh has 2100 holes per square inch and will keep out even the smallest insects. The mesh pattern is structurally designed to resist snags and tears. Each side of the netting has 250 cm / 100” of cord and two yellow attachment loops to makes it a cinch to keep your netting suspended evenly above your sleeping space. There are 4 interior yellow loops inside the netting to hang your lightweight gear, 2 larger yellow loops inside and at each end of the hammock to secure heavier gear and 4 functional pockets at either end of the hammock for additional storage. The zipper extends almost the entire length of the SBBF to make it easy sit or lay in the hammock with the netting folded open. The SBBF is made from strong and durable ripstop material which is reinforced with webbing on the structural seams. Weighing in at only 815 grams / 28.8 oz and complete with 250 cm / 100” of built in climbing rope suspension on each end, the Sky Bed Bug Free is the most comfortable, the most insulated and the most bed like insect free camping hammock in the world.

I have bought two of these just because I liked the first on so much. It is a large strong hammock and the quality is outstanding for the price. Have owned this hammock for several years. I Recommend it to anyone who has issues sleeping on the hard ground, or with back problems. Once you get used to this, you'll never go into the woods again, without it.  The hammock is wide enough to sit in, during the day, sideways; and to sleep diagonally, at night.  Best part of this system is the versatility. Use with the netting side up, during the hotter months when bugs are an issue.  Use netting side down during the cooler months as a sleeve to hold your insulation.  Bottom Line:  Love it, mean it. The oversized rip stop rain fly provides complete protection from the rain for both your hammock and your gear.

2100 holes per square inch no-see-um netting keeps out the smallest bugs and reduces the chilling effect of the wind. The V door rolls up and can be toggled on top to allow easier access to the interior space. Double pull YKK zippers make it a breeze to get into and out of your sky space. 350 cm / 138” of 6mm climbing rope provide a secure ridge line below the rain fly. The climbing rope extends 203 cm / 80” outward on each side to securely hang your Sky Tent. A prusik knot allows you to tension the ridgeline and move the rope from one side of the Sky Tent to the other. There is 250 cm / 100" of cord on the 4 corners of the rain fly with ladder lock buckles for easy tensioning. The base layer or floor is now made with the same waterproof rip stop nylon as the rain fly and this layer helps retain body heat and provides storage for light weight gear. We redesigned the shape of the floor to mirror the rectangular shape of most sleeping pads and added loops at the 4 exterior corners. If you want to use your Sky Tent as a conventional ground tent, you can on easily stake out the 4 exterior corners of the floor and use a hiking pole to hold up one or both ends of the rain fly.
